• Wanted man lying face-down on dirt hill arrested in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights police arrested a 31-year-old local man found lying face-down on a dirt hill near Indian Creek and Baldwin Creek drives, where drug paraphernalia was discovered nearby. Officers later learned he was wanted in Middleburg Heights for failing to appear on a drunk-driving charge and took him to Southwest General on Bagley Road after he reported knee pain.
   

• Wanted woman arrested outside Dunkin'; man cited for transporting marijuana: Middleburg Heights police blotter (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights police served a warrant on a Brook Park woman along Bagley Road after discovering she was wanted locally for missing a traffic court date. Officers also cited a driver on Pearl Road for transporting marijuana and are investigating a fraudulent oxycodone prescription reported by the Giant Eagle pharmacy on Southland Drive, tied to similar scams at other area pharmacies.
   

• Author to discuss memoir on addiction recovery at Middleburg Heights library (cleveland.com) — Residents can hear recovery advocate and author Matt Grace speak about his addiction memoir at the Middleburg Heights branch library on Sept. 24 from 7–8 p.m. The free program at 16699 Bagley Road will explore his journey to long-term sobriety and offer reflections on recovery, faith, and community support. Copies of his book will be available for purchase.
