• VIDEO: Goat climbs on SUV, jumps off and escapes capture in Ohio (wtrf.com) — A loose herd of goats caused a lighthearted stir along Oxford Middletown Road this week, when Butler County deputies responded to reports of “suspicious trespassers” in a backyard. Seven goats were rounded up, but one white male with brown facial markings escaped after leaping from an SUV roof and disappearing into nearby woods. Residents are asked to call the sheriff’s office if they spot him.

• Southern Baptists Approve Five Major Resolutions at 2026 Annual Meeting (jubileecast.com) — A Middletown pastor helped shape a key Southern Baptist resolution on assisted suicide, adding language about eternal consequences and Christian hope in suffering. Delegates at the SBC’s 2026 meeting also condemned antisemitism, reaffirmed male-only pastoral leadership, addressed immigration and political violence, and marked America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, outlining the denomination’s current priorities.
