• Canton church reading program seeks partners, students, volunteers (cantonrep.com) — A Canton-based church coalition is expanding its free Books & Breakfast tutoring program and hosting a Sept. 19 "Reading is Dreaming" event to boost children's literacy. Organizers note North Canton schools earned 4.5 of 5 stars in third-grade reading, using that success to encourage more families and churches across the area to get involved and support young readers.
