The discussion broadened into worries about teardowns, loss of modest homes, and whether Orange should tighten zoning to limit mansion replacements and protect neighborhood character. 
• Orange council approves collective bargaining agreement with police unions (cleveland.com) — Orange Village Council has approved a new three-year collective bargaining agreement giving police officers 3.5% annual raises through 2028 and reaffirming support for local safety forces. Council also advanced several infrastructure moves, including repainting Village Hall, annual street striping, and pursuing grants to help buy land for the planned Orange Headwaters Preserve and a future fire station at Harvard and Brainard roads.
