• Man surrenders after incident in Fairport Harbor (news-herald.com) — Painesville officers helped Fairport Harbor and other agencies after a man barricaded himself in a vehicle on Eagle Street, briefly putting Fairport Harbor School on lockdown. The suspect eventually surrendered and was found with a CO2 self-defense pistol, not a firearm, and now faces inducing panic and obstruction charges as the broader investigation continues.
