District leaders credit strong community partnerships and a focused strategic plan, while Solon High School also placed third in the Cleveland metro and 237th nationally in U.S. News rankings.
   

• Sectionals golf results: Orange and Chagrin Falls capture sectional titles (chagrinvalleytoday.com) — Solon High School's boys golf team competed at the Division I sectional at Windmill Lakes, finishing 12th with a 354, highlighted by Avi Gupta's strong 77. The roundup also details how neighboring schools like Orange, Chagrin Falls, Kenston, and Gilmour Academy fared in sectional and district play across Northeast Ohio.
   

• Orange Schools voters to see operating levy on ballot for first time in 15 years (cleveland.com) — Orange City School District is asking voters to approve a new 5‑mill operating levy on the Nov. 3 ballot to avoid deep deficits and potential cuts to programs. Officials note that nearby districts, including Solon, have gone to voters more often and at higher millage, while Orange still has one of the lowest school tax rates in eastern Cuyahoga County.
