• Orange Village-Solon waterline project resumes after gas line strikes: 'This project is safe' (cleveland.com) — Work has restarted on the joint Orange Village–Solon Miles Road waterline replacement after multiple gas line strikes forced a two‑week safety review. Enbridge Gas is now closely marking lines and keeping a safety team onsite while Terrace Construction continues installing the new 12‑inch main that will serve both communities, with completion still expected in roughly four months despite earlier delays. 
• Best quarterbacks in Ohio Division I, DII high school football entering 2026 (cleveland.com) — Two Solon High School quarterbacks, senior Brody Cowan and returning starter Jack Sanders, are featured among Ohio's top Division I and II passers heading into the 2026 season.
