• Big Walnut recognizes student achievement (delgazette.com) — Big Walnut High School in Sunbury has announced its third-quarter honor roll, recognizing 740 students in grades 9–12 for their academic achievement in the 2025–26 school year. Families can scan the list to see which local students earned honors and note that asterisks simply indicate students without middle names.
   

• Sunbury Hits Pause On Data Centers After Weeks of Pushback (1808delaware.com) — Sunbury City Council has unanimously imposed a moratorium on new data center development through January 31, 2027, effectively freezing a proposed $2 billion Amazon-linked campus and any similar projects. City leaders say they need time to study zoning, infrastructure, and environmental impacts, as well as pending state legislation, before deciding how large data centers fit into Sunbury’s long-term growth.
   

• Work zone crashes alter driver behavior (spectrumnews1.com) — Sunbury-area drivers are being warned about rising work zone crashes after a deadly I-71 construction-zone wreck in Delaware County, prompting fresh calls for caution near the U.S. 36/37 interchange. State data show work zone crashes ticked back up in 2025, and one local commuter now avoids that stretch entirely after witnessing a fatal collision.
