One 19-year-old passenger was treated for minor injuries, while the other passengers and both drivers were unhurt as troopers continue investigating the incident.

Central Catholic senior quarterback transfers to high school in Michigan after getting replaced in season opener (wtol.com) — Central Catholic's senior quarterback Ali Beydoun is leaving Toledo's powerhouse program to transfer to Crestwood High School in Michigan after being replaced during the season opener. Sophomore transfer Lincoln Sellers will now start under center when the Fighting Irish host Portage Central, while coaches praise Beydoun's role in recent state title runs.
   

4. Personalized cancer vaccine shows promise against melanoma, local oncologist says (13abc.com) — A Toledo-based oncologist says a new personalized mRNA cancer vaccine is showing promising results in preventing melanoma from returning or spreading, offering fresh hope to local patients. Built from each person's own tumor, the shot trains the immune system to recognize that cancer's unique fingerprint and appears especially effective when paired with existing immunotherapy. Full trial data and FDA approval are still pending, but experts see this as a major step forward.
