Melanie Miller Champions Regional Projects, Votes in Support of Capital Budget Bill (ohiohouse.gov) — State funding is headed to Wadsworth for cemetery improvements, historic downtown upgrades, and a pedestrian safety project as part of Ohio’s new capital budget. Representative Melanie Miller helped secure more than $3.2 million for Ashland and Medina County projects overall. These investments aim to improve parks, recreation, safety, and community facilities across the region.
   

• Driver dies after crash into Sharon Township home (yourohionews.com) — A Sharon Township driver died Wednesday after his truck left state Route 94, struck a home, and he was later pronounced dead at Summa Health Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Medina County deputies are still investigating, with Wadsworth Police and local rescue teams assisting at the scene. No additional details on the residence’s occupants were released.
