County officials warn that unchecked data centers could strain power, water, and tax bases, while business leaders argue moratoriums might cost the region future economic opportunities and higher-tech jobs. 
• Budget including $10.4 million in state capital funds for Lorain County awaits DeWine's signature (chroniclet.com) — Wellington is in line for $110,000 in state capital funding, including upgrades to Union School Park and a new helipad at the Lorain County Fairgrounds. These projects are part of more than $10.4 million headed to Lorain County for parks, health care, historic preservation, and community facilities, pending Gov. Mike DeWine’s signature on the capital budget.
