• Ohio Wedding Descends into Massive Brawl (wideopencountry.com) — A large fight at a wedding inside La Centre Banquet Facility in Westlake drew multiple police departments after a dispute between two families spilled outside and escalated. Westlake officers, backed by nearby suburbs, broke up the brawl and arrested two men on separate protection-order and assault charges. No motive has been publicly confirmed, but police say long‑standing hostilities resurfaced. 
• North Olmsted nursing home employee accused of stealing over $2K from 86-year-old resident (cleveland19.com) — Westlake police say they arrested a North Olmsted nursing home aide accused of making multiple unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling $2,500 from an 86-year-old resident's account at a bank in Westlake. The victim's Bay Village sister reported suspicious activity, prompting an investigation and surveillance review. The suspect was fired and now faces felony theft and credit card misuse charges.
• Husband told first responder his injured wife "no domestic violence" before she died: report (meigsindypress.com) — A Westlake woman has died after an incident at her Canterbury Road home, and her husband is now charged with murder and related offenses while held on a $1 million bond. Westlake police and first responders found extensive blood in the house, and records show prior domestic calls there. The victim, a lifelong Westlake resident, is remembered for her love of family, gardening, and the beach.
