MAPC recommends changes to comprehensive plan (enidnews.com) — Enid’s planning commission has endorsed changes to the Envision Enid comprehensive plan that support the massive Project Thunderbird data centers and power corridor, sending the issue to city commissioners. The Enid City Commission will now hold a public hearing and vote on rezoning key properties, decisions that could shape industrial growth, power generation, and support for Vance Air Force Base. 
2. Garfield County Health Department Opens Investigation into Tuberculosis Case in Enid Public Schools – EnidLIVE! (enidlive.com) — Health officials are investigating at least one active tuberculosis case involving an Enid Public Schools student, but classes will continue as normal while the student is isolated. Testing for potentially exposed students is set for Oct. 26-27, and parents must decide whether to consent, with questions directed to the Garfield County Health Department.
