Chad Caldwell, R-Enid, pressed the University of Oklahoma on how it addresses campus speech issues after a Turning Point USA complaint. A state Free Speech Committee reviewed separate complaints involving OSU and OU, praising OSU’s corrective steps and training while declining to recommend changes at OU, citing limits on university responsibility for student-on-student conflicts.
