• Grand Lake Hosts Fireworks Bassmaster (tulsatoday.com) — Grove will host the 2026 TNT Fireworks Bassmaster Team Championship on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees from Dec. 9–12, drawing top anglers and fans from across the country. City and tourism leaders say the nationally televised event will showcase Grove’s facilities, fishing culture, and hospitality while giving local businesses a boost during the normally quiet early winter season.
   

• Grove man sentenced to 20 years prison after confession to murder, OSBI says (kfor.com) — A Grove man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in Delaware County District Court. Investigators say the case stems from an October 2024 shooting near East 250 Road and South 610 Road, where 32-year-old Jared Beach died despite life-saving efforts by responding officers.
   

• Oklahoma school launches online yearbook archive for alumni (fourstateshomepage.com) — Grove High School alumni can now browse decades of yearbooks online, from 1936 through 2019, thanks to a project led by current students and staff. The free archive lets former Ridgerunners revisit old photos, honor classmates who’ve passed, and prepare for reunions, while protecting current students’ privacy by delaying recent yearbooks and still offering some older print copies for $10.
