• Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport completes $5.7 Million taxiway improvement project (guthrienewspage.com) — A $5.7 million taxiway realignment and lighting upgrade is now complete at Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport, boosting safety and paving the way for a new terminal. Funded largely by federal and state grants, the project realigned 3,750 feet of taxiway to FAA standards while keeping flights operating. Construction on the new terminal and apron is expected to start this fall, with a ribbon-cutting planned soon.

• BOA Scout Day (prepbaseballreport.com) — Local baseball families will spot Guthrie represented on the BOA Scout Day roster, with first baseman Bo Hayes listed from Guthrie and catcher Easton Smedley from Guthrie High School. The long list showcases Oklahoma and Kansas prospects, their schools, positions, and graduation years. It’s essentially a recruiting snapshot that confirms Guthrie athletes are on college scouts’ radar.
