• Crossing arm assembly collapsed onto 12th Street after grain cart strike, no injuries (abc7amarillo.com) — A major railroad crossing at 12th Street and Railroad Avenue in Guymon is closed to vehicles after a grain cart hit and collapsed the main crossing arm assembly, damaging power and signal equipment. Train traffic has resumed, but city officials warn the crossing is currently unprotected and dangerous, and they expect the road to stay shut until at least late Friday, disrupting truck routes and emergency access along U.S. Highway 64.
