• Harrah woman charged with DUI (lcnok.com) — A Harrah woman faces felony DUI and misdemeanor obstruction charges after a late-night single-car crash on State Highway 102 near E 1028 Road. According to a trooper’s affidavit, she allegedly refused to exit her vehicle, showed signs of intoxication, and was later cleared at a Shawnee hospital before being booked into the Lincoln County Jail.

• Horses seized from cocaine traffickers by OBN find new home at Harrah rescue sanctuary (koco.com) — Six horses seized in a major cocaine trafficking bust have been permanently rehomed at Blaze Tribute Equine Rescue in Harrah, giving the animals a safe new start. State narcotics agents formally thanked the Harrah sanctuary with a plaque, recognizing its quick response and ongoing work caring for neglected and abandoned horses.

• Capps retires after 36 years of service to Tribe, community (potawatomi.org) — Citizen Potawatomi Nation Vice-Chairman Linda Capps, who grew up in Harrah and graduated from Harrah High School, is retiring after 36 years of service to the Tribe. Colleagues praise her compassion, mentorship, and support for education as the Nation’s workforce and services expanded dramatically during her tenure.
