• Oklahoma attorney gets 90 days in jail for embezzlement (fourstateshomepage.com) — A criminal case based in Jay has resulted in a 90‑day Delaware County jail sentence for an Oklahoma attorney who admitted stealing client funds from a divorce-related trust account. The lawyer, who surrendered her state law license in 2024, received an eight‑year suspended sentence conditioned on serving local jail time after acknowledging she gambled away money owed in a 2015 divorce settlement.
