1. OHP: 18-year-old woman killed in crash on I-40 in Oklahoma City (koco.com) — An overnight crash on I-40 near Anderson Road in Oklahoma City left an 18-year-old Seminole woman dead and shut down westbound lanes for several hours late Saturday. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says her vehicle crossed the median and was struck by another car, whose 22-year-old Edmond driver was injured. Authorities have not yet released his condition or additional details.
   

2. OKC awaits water from Canton Lake as drought persists (koco.com) — Oklahoma City is expecting water from Canton Lake to start arriving at Lake Hefner by Monday, part of a 16,000 acre-foot release to ease ongoing drought. Residents near Canton are already seeing shoreline drops and worry about water lost to seepage and evaporation. City officials say the full transfer will take about two weeks and carries responsibilities for both communities' water futures.
   

3. Detainees contend Oklahoma ICE site is neglecting medical care (kansascity.com) — Oklahoma City immigration attorneys and lawmakers are raising alarms about medical care, food, and hygiene for immigrants detained at the Diamondback Correctional Facility in Watonga. They describe clients from the metro as weak, underfed, and struggling to get needed medications, while the private operator and federal officials insist conditions and healthcare access meet required standards.
   

4. Young OKC welder creates 42-foot sound wave sculpture for nonprofit (oklahoman.com) — A 23-year-old Oklahoma City welder helped design a 42-foot chandelier sculpture that turns recorded sound waves into colorful light at Hearts for Hearing's new wing. Created by local firm Artform, the piece is visible to visitors and drivers along Lake Hefner Parkway. The project capped his journey from Francis Tuttle welding student to production manager overseeing a 13-person team.
   

5. Numerous collisions in OKC metro overnight Sunday (news9.com) — Several serious crashes overnight disrupted travel on I-40, the Turner Turnpike, and at Broadway Extension and 122nd Street in the Oklahoma City metro, including one fatal wreck on westbound I-40. Oklahoma City police confirmed no deaths in a separate multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, though several people were hospitalized. Expect lingering delays and be cautious on these major routes.
