• Teen drivers, two others injured in horse-related crash (yourokmulgee.com) — A 17-year-old from Okmulgee and four others were injured when a vehicle hit a horse on Highway 56 Loop near Miami in Okmulgee County, then crossed the centerline into another car. Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts, no fatalities were reported, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says details may change as the investigation continues.

• Claremore's Roberts wins Phoenix Bass Fishing League Okie Division Tournament at Lake Eufaula (eufaulaindianjournal.com) — An Okmulgee angler, Harold Frazier, topped the co-angler field at the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Okie Division event on Lake Eufaula, winning $1,670 with three bass totaling 10 pounds, 12 ounces. The tournament also highlighted strong finishes from anglers across Oklahoma and set early points leaders heading into the rest of the season.
