• Washington County fire agencies to enact high-fire danger burn ban (beavertonvalleytimes.com) — Starting just after midnight on Monday, June 15, a high-fire danger burn ban will take effect across Washington County, including the Banks Fire District area. Backyard, agricultural, and land-clearing burning will be prohibited, though small cooking and recreational fires are still allowed. Residents near forested or ODF-protected lands around Banks may face even tighter restrictions, so checking specific rules is important.
