• Legal Notices: Edition of June 11, 2026 (chronicle1909.com) — Creswell property owners are being warned they must keep lots and adjoining rights-of-way free of tall grass, blackberries, and other noxious vegetation between June 15 and September 30 or face city abatement charges. The same legal-notice package also lists multiple Lane County foreclosure sales, estate notices, and a Cottage Grove foreclosure summons that Creswell readers may want to review if they own or are eyeing property locally.
   

• Golf: Washington's Andrew Putnam Dramatically Advances To U.S. Open (elisportsnetwork.com) — Creswell’s Emerald Valley Golf Club just hosted a dramatic U.S. Open qualifier, where University Place pro Andrew Putnam outlasted Vancouver’s Spencer Tibbits in a nine-hole playoff stretching into Tuesday morning. Putnam advances to the U.S. Open, while Tibbits becomes first alternate from the Creswell site after both shot strong rounds on the local course.
