• California Condor Flies Into Oregon for First Time in More Than a Century (people.com) — For the first time since a condor was last seen in Drain in 1904, a free-flying California condor has been documented in Oregon again. A young bird from the Yurok Tribe’s restoration program flew from Northern California into southern Oregon, thrilling conservationists and raising hopes that condors will once more become a regular sight in the region.
