• Man accused of murdering 2-year-old arrested in Southeast Portland (kptv.com) — Deputies first responded to Blue Lake Park in Fairview in March 2025, when a 2-year-old girl was found unconscious and later died; the death has now been ruled a homicide. Investigators arrested a 28-year-old man in Southeast Portland on Wednesday, and he now faces murder and assault charges, with a court appearance scheduled and a call out for additional information from the public.
