• Popular Park and Campground in East Multnomah County will Close Through At Least End of Year (kxl.com) — If you rely on Oxbow Regional Park for camping, boating, or hiking from Gresham, be ready: the entire park will close starting Monday, Sept. 8, for a full water-system replacement. All trails, campgrounds, and boat ramps will be off-limits through at least January, so boaters should plan alternate Sandy River access between Dodge Park and Glenn Otto or Lewis & Clark.
