Investigators used surveillance and city cameras to track the car to a Vancouver apartment complex and are now focused on identifying who was driving when the vehicle sped through the work zone. 
• Gresham police seek help locating missing 79-year-old man (kptv.com) — Gresham police are asking residents to help find 79-year-old Toan Nguyen, who was last seen Friday morning leaving his home near Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Division Street. Because his health condition worries officers, they're urging anyone who spots a man matching his description—5-foot-9, 150 pounds, white shirt and blue pants—to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333 immediately.
• Gresham soccer community rallies to support Nepal flood relief efforts (kgw.com) — Soccer fans packed FUTbarrio in Gresham on Friday night for a charity tournament raising money for victims of Nepal's deadly Aug. 26 flash floods. Attendees donated via QR codes, heard from organizers with deep Nepalese ties, and joined the Nepali Association of Oregon in supporting ongoing rescue and recovery efforts overseas.
