Prosecutors say he funneled tens of thousands of dollars through his accounts between 2021 and 2024, and he now faces up to 10 years in prison with sentencing set for December 10.

Woodburn becomes latest Oregon city to set a moratorium for data centers (kgw.com) — Hillsboro's recent 120-day pause on new data centers is part of a growing statewide trend, as Woodburn just enacted a similar moratorium and Gov. Tina Kotek halted projects on state land. For Hillsboro residents, the debate now stretches beyond one lawsuit to a broader fight over energy use, water, noise, and who should control where massive data facilities get built.
