• KFD parks one ambulance pending new hires (keizertimes.com) — Keizer Fire District has temporarily parked its least-used ambulance due to staff shortages and high overtime costs, but officials say response times remain stable thanks to other medic units and paramedic-staffed engines. One Keizer ambulance is now intermittently unstaffed at the Clear Lake station, while hiring efforts aim to restore full coverage by late summer. Residents may see more out-of-town ambulances responding to local calls.
