• Districts reveal enrollment numbers in Lake Oswego, West Linn and Wilsonville (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego families can expect school to start Sept. 8 with slightly higher-than-forecast high school enrollment and ongoing construction at several campuses, including Lake Oswego and Lakeridge high schools. District leaders say some classrooms may still be in progress during early events, and neighbors near Lakeridge should anticipate extra traffic tied to both school drop-offs and Stafford Road work. 
• Play of the Day: Lakeridge's Jackson Romero (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego sports fans saw a standout moment when Lakeridge's Jackson Romero scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Jesuit at Lakeridge High School on Sept. 1. A long pass from teammate Zavier Lara set up Romero's decisive run past the last defender and finish into the far post, earning the game's Play of the Day spotlight.
