• Lake Oswego police log: Excessive speeding, a stolen dog leash and a burglary arrest (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Recent Lake Oswego police calls included a burglary arrest at a local church, a DUII with reckless driving and assault charges, and a report of a sexual assault at an urgent care clinic. Officers also handled excessive speeding near school routes, a downed tree and powerline, a stolen dog leash at Hazelia dog park, and fraud and social media scam complaints.
   

• Lake Oswego City Council approves changes to e-bike and e-scooter rules (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego's City Council has approved new rules clarifying where and how e-bikes and e-scooters can be ridden, emphasizing road use over sidewalks and banning devices that exceed 28 mph or lack pedals. Police and the school district are coordinating to educate families, especially as the legal riding age will drop from 16 to 14 in 2027.
   

• Portland's Elk Rock Garden joins National Register of Historic Places (oregonlive.com) — Just north of Lake Oswego, Dunthorpe's 10‑acre Elk Rock Garden has been added to the National Register of Historic Places, strengthening protections against demolition or major alteration. The historic estate, long open to the public on weekdays, is now stewarded by a nonprofit foundation and continues to host educational events, volunteer opportunities, and small nonprofit offices.
