• Police And Prosecutors Use New System To Connect In Clackamas County (kxl.com) — In Oregon City, the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office has rolled out a new digital system that lets police departments send reports and evidence directly to prosecutors, speeding up case reviews. With agencies like Milwaukie Police and the Sheriff's Office already using it and more cities joining soon, residents could see faster movement on criminal cases countywide.
   

• Oregon Advances Development of 66 New Affordable Homes with Behavioral Health Support (oregon.gov) — A new 66-home Gant Gardens supportive housing project in Clackamas County will be run on the ground by Oregon City nonprofit The Father's Heart, pairing deeply affordable units with round-the-clock behavioral health services. Backed by state housing and health agencies under the governor's order, the $27 million development aims to stabilize chronically homeless residents with intensive support.
   

• A sushi buffet has scooped up 10 old Shari's across Oregon, Washington (chronline.com) — Oregon City diners now have an all-you-can-eat sushi option where the old Shari's once stood on South Beavercreek Road, as Sumo Sushi & Grill expands into former diner sites. The chain is rapidly converting closed Shari's buildings across Oregon and Washington, with more locations planned in nearby Milwaukie, Eugene, Salem and Portland.
