March brought the highest 911 call volume, most traffic stops, and the most citations, while DUII arrests fluctuated but remained a steady part of officersā workload.

Janelle Bynum seeks nearly $10 million in federal funds, including support for Redmond Child Care and the Redmond Fire District. Prep tennis: Central Oregon Invite returns (redmondspokesman.com) ā Redmondās Sam Johnson Park will host matches this Friday and Saturday as part of the Central Oregon Invite, a large boys tennis tournament spread across seven area sites. Local teams including Redmond High will face schools from around Oregon in pool play, giving players rare chances to test themselves against unfamiliar opponents and experience multiāmatch, championshipāstyle days.

LOCAL HISTORY: Mary Brown published Spokesman for nearly 4 decades (redmondspokesman.com) ā Redmondās longtime newspaper publisher Mary Brown helped shape both the Redmond Spokesman and the city itself, from strengthening local journalism to helping secure military airstrips that became todayās commercial airport. Her decades of leadership also supported building Redmondās first major hospital and mentoring future Oregon media and political figures.
