• Silver Falls State Park details plans for new $6.5M visitor's center (statesmanjournal.com) — Silverton-area visitors to Silver Falls State Park will soon see big changes at the often-confusing north entrance, which many reach via town. A new $6.5 million visitor center, slated for construction in 2027 and opening in 2028, will offer maps, ranger help, a café, and better connections to the Trail of Ten Falls, while a local nonprofit raises funds for interior features.
