• Proposed reservoir in Oregon's Willamette Valley again rejected (capitalpress.com) — State regulators have again rejected a proposed irrigation reservoir on Drift Creek just outside Silverton, citing harm to existing in-stream water rights meant to protect fish. The East Valley Water District argues the project would support farms and water storage, and is weighing another court challenge. The decision could shape future water storage projects affecting agriculture and habitat across the Willamette Valley.
