• Legion Baseball: Limited on experience, Docs hope vets can usher young group to success in 2026 (nrtoday.com) — A Sutherlin freshman, pitcher Quinn Gaylor, is among several young players stepping into big roles for the Roseburg-based Dr. Stewart’s American Legion baseball team this summer. With only a handful of returning veterans, first-year coach Cody Walton plans to lean on leaders like Logan Anderson and Paxton Burke while giving Gaylor and other underclassmen plenty of chances to prove themselves in league play.
