• Fatal Shooting at Portland Area Fred Meyer Leaves Community Shaken (theunionstar.com) — A person was killed Tuesday evening in a shooting outside the Fred Meyer in Wood Village, drawing a large response from sheriff’s deputies and Gresham police. Investigators say there’s no ongoing threat to the public, but they’re still piecing together what led to the violence and are asking anyone who saw or recorded the incident near NE Park Lane and 223rd Avenue to contact them.
