America250 Celebrations, Symphony Performance: Eastern Montco Weekend Events

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — It's pretty amazing that the last weekend of June is arriving and that one month of the "unofficial summer" since Memorial Day is in the books.

Yes, summer officially started last Sunday. But it seems to be going by fast already, with next weekend being the Fourth of July celebration of the 250th anniversary of America's independence.

The City of Philadelphia is already celebrating America250.

Wawa Welcome America is underway with plenty of festivities leading up to the Fourth of July.

These are some of the events planned for this weekend in and around eastern Montgomery County:

WAWA Welcome America Celebration Starts

• Wawa Welcome America will feature 16 days of July 4th fireworks and festivities for America's 250th birthday. The nation's largest Fourth of July celebration kicks off on June 19. Click here for all the details
