• Pool Survey Underway In Abington Township (patch.com) — Abington Township residents are being asked to weigh in on a new feasibility study that will shape the future of the aging Crestmont and Penbryn pools. The survey, which closes Friday, will guide plans for modern, accessible, and financially sustainable aquatic facilities and related park upgrades, and help the township pursue state grant funding for eventual construction.
   

• In a family effort, a Fort Washington Fire Company father-son duo battle their first fire together (wissnow.com) — A local Abington Senior High School student just helped fight his first house fire alongside his father with the Fort Washington Fire Company, putting his new hydrant-training skills to the test in Upper Dublin. • NFL: Former Kutztown University standout signs with the Commanders (centredaily.com) — Former Abington High School running back Craig Reynolds, who went on to star at Kutztown University, has signed with the Washington Commanders. The 30-year-old, previously with Detroit and other NFL teams, has amassed 658 rushing yards and one touchdown in his pro career, giving Abington football fans another alum to watch on Sundays.
