Fast-Growing Coffee Chain Coming Soon To City Avenue In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — 7 Brew, a fast-growing chain of drive-thru coffee shops, is bringing a new location to the City Avenue corridor.

7 Brew Coffee operates more than 900 drive-thru-only coffee "stands" that emphasize quickness and tout more than 20,000 drink combinations.

The chain has opened hundreds of locations in the past year, expanding into new markets including the Philadelphia area. But the City Avenue location will bring it closer to coffee drinkers in the area where Philly meets the Main Line.

The 7 Brew at the City Avenue Shopping Center is slated to open in late fall, a company spokesperson told Patch.

7 Brew constructs its coffee stands off-site, so they can go up pretty quickly. Less than two weeks ago, 7 Brew shared that the new location was under development, with a photo of a truck transporting the coffee stand on City Avenue.

It was placed on a pad site next to Wendy's. The facility's exterior looks like a finished product. But site work for the future drive-thru lanes remains underway.

City Avenue Shopping Center is located at 7720 City Line Ave., Philadelphia.

Currently, 7 Brew's closest locations are in Northeast Philly and Collegeville.
