Tex-Mex Taco Eatery Opens In Ardmore After Building A Following In Philly
The new establishment, which specializes in breakfast tacos, is located at the Ardmore Farmers Market.
ARDMORE, PA — A taco establishment that's built a following in Philadelphia has opened a new location in the Ardmore Farmers Market.
Taco Heart specializes in breakfast tacos, a signature part of Tex-Mex cuisine. Founder Nano Wheedan got into them when he moved from Philly to Austin to pursue a music career, according to Taco Heart's website.
To make ends meet in Texas, he helped develop a pizzeria in Austin. Then in 2021, he became a minority partner at Korshak Bagels — his business partner's bagel shop in South Philadelphia.

A year later, Taco Heart opened in South Philly.
Taco Heart serves breakfast tacos all day, including chorizo, egg, and cheese and the potato, egg and cheese. They also have "lunch" tacos.

The Ardmore location recently opened for walk-ups.
The Ardmore Farmers Market is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
