Free Pet Adoption Event At Women's Animal Center

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Women's Animal Center is teaming up with Doll 10 Beauty for a free pet adoption event this weekend.

The 2026 Dolls for Paws Adoption Event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road.

Dolly 10 Beauty is an internationally selling, cruelty-free cosmetics company based in Bucks County, is partnering with Women’s Animal Center as an event sponsor.

The Women's Animal Center, America’s First Animal Shelter, hopes to place as many shelter animals as possible into loving forever homes.

The event will also feature complimentary refreshments and coloring activities for the little dolls and dudes.

All adoption fees will be fully covered by Doll 10 Beauty in support of this lifesaving initiative.

“Never take time for granted. Animal shelters across the country are filled with pets that need us, and the time for us to make a difference is now,” said Doris Dalton, founder of Doll 10 Beauty and former Mrs. America titleholder.

This marks the eighth annual Dolls for Paws Adoption Event. Over 250 homeless animals, since the event’s introduction, have found new homes.

“Our goal is to top the previous year’s success by uniting even more animals with their forever families in 2026,” Dalton said.

In addition to waived adoption fees, Women’s Animal Center includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and discounted veterinary services with 20 percent off the first annual wellness exam.

Adopters will receive Doll 10 adoption gift bags too.

“Women’s Animal Center assists thousands of animals in need throughout the region each year and unites pets with people to love them” said Cathy Malkemes, chief executive officer of the Center. “We rely upon the generosity of our community to support our work, so to have a corporate partner and friend to animals like Doll 10 Beauty is truly invaluable to us, and to our animals.”
