Motorcyclist dies in Bethlehem crash with charter bus, coroner says (lehighvalleylive.com) — A 28-year-old Bangor motorcyclist died Thursday night after colliding with a charter bus on Industrial Drive in Bethlehem, according to the Lehigh County coroner. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, where he was pronounced dead, and Bethlehem police, along with county investigators, are still working to determine what led to the crash.

Bethlehem police find no criminal evidence in school incident involving non-verbal student (lehighvalleylive.com) — Bethlehem police say they found no evidence of a crime after investigating a reported incident between a staff member and a non-verbal student at Marvine Elementary School in the Bethlehem Area School District. Detectives concluded the staffer's actions fit behavior management rather than intent to harm, found no signs of injury or distress, and have formally closed the case.
   

3. Lehigh Valley electric vehicle drivers could soon have additional charging locations under state program (mcall.com) — Bethlehem drivers could soon find it easier to charge electric vehicles as Pennsylvania directs more than $100 million in federal funds to expand public charging, with Lehigh Valley leaders pushing to capture many of the 80–85 new stations. Bethlehem's mayor says better infrastructure will help the city add EVs to its own fleet and encourage more residents to switch, supporting cleaner air and regional growth goals.

South Bethlehem and the Future of Standing at the Zoning Hearing Board (law.com subscription) — A recent Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision involving South Bethlehem Associates and the Zoning Hearing Board of Bethlehem Township tightens who can appeal local zoning decisions.
