• Nine-Year-Old Boy Airlifted With Serious Injuries After Being Struck by Car in Big Run (gantnews.com) — A nine-year-old Big Run boy was seriously injured Sunday evening after running into Watts Lane and being struck by a car, then airlifted to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. State Police say the teen driver from Punxsutawney could not stop in time, and local fire and EMS crews from Big Run and Jefferson County assisted at the scene.
