• Cheese stored in refrigerator contaminated by raw animal food: Restaurant Inspections, June 11, 2026 (berksweekly.com) — Boyer’s Food Market in Birdsboro was recently cited after a few refrigerated items near the registers were found at 60°F instead of the required 41°F or below, though staff quickly moved them and called for service. The same state report lists numerous other Berks County restaurants with mostly minor food-safety violations, many of which were corrected during inspection.
