• Pennsylvania American Water Announces Service Line Identification Outreach in the Greater Norristown Area (montco.today) — Door-to-door inspections for water service lines are coming to Bridgeport Borough as Pennsylvania American Water works to find and replace any remaining lead or galvanized pipes at no direct cost to property owners. Contractors with IDs and safety vests will visit homes to identify pipe materials, part of a wider Montgomery County effort to improve drinking water safety and meet new federal rules.
   

• Pagans member sent to state prison for assault of rival bikers at Wawa in West Norriton (pottsmerc.com subscription) — A Bridgeport man and another local resident tied to an outlaw motorcycle club were convicted in connection with a 2025 confrontation at a West Norriton Wawa that left bystanders wounded. One defendant has now received a state prison sentence, while the Bridgeport co-defendant awaits sentencing, after an investigation involving Bridgeport and other area police departments.
