• Aston firefighters handle lithium battery fire (delcotimes.com) — Brookhaven Fire Company assisted Aston firefighters Wednesday night when lithium-ion batteries ignited a shed fire on Stuart Drive in nearby Aston. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and notified county fire and hazmat officials, and safety experts are reminding residents in Brookhaven and surrounding towns to charge, store, and dispose of lithium batteries carefully to prevent similar fires.
