Butler Schools Receive $500K Grant For Programming - ButlerRadio.com - Butler, PA (butlerradio.com) — Butler Area School District is getting a major boost, with a $500,000 state grant to expand safety‑focused after‑school programming centered at Broad Street Elementary and supporting Intermediate and Senior High students. The BOOST-funded program will pay for instructors, curriculum, assessment tools, and mentoring to provide high-dosage tutoring and executive-function training as part of a statewide school safety initiative.

Man Accused of Stealing Dog Out of City Apartment (wbut.com) — Police say a Harrisville man is jailed after allegedly breaking into a Butler City apartment on North Washington Street and taking a resident’s dog, which was later recovered and returned. The suspect faces multiple felony charges and remains in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond, with a preliminary hearing set for April 27.

BC3 Planning HVAC Upgrades For Science and Tech Building (butlerradio.com) — If you study, work, or attend events at BC3, expect a more comfortable Science and Technology Building soon, as trustees approved nearly $2.5 million in HVAC upgrades on the Butler Township campus.
