• County commissioners endorse three statewide priorities: 911 funding, mental health services, reassessment (tiogapublishing.com) — Tioga County commissioners are backing statewide efforts to boost 911 and mental health funding and to help counties complete fair property reassessments, changes that would ultimately affect Canton taxpayers too. During the same meeting, they discussed expanding sheriff’s school resource officers, noting Bradford County already provides similar coverage to Canton and other nearby districts, potentially signaling future safety partnerships in our area.
