• Carnegie's Panhandle Trail extension receives $1.5M boost (westhillsgazette.com) — Carnegie’s downtown is set for a major boost as $1.5 million in new funding helps extend the Panhandle Trail directly into the borough, near Bell Avenue and the Park and Ride. Local leaders expect more visitors on Main Street, new outdoor amenities, and stronger connections to nearby communities as abandoned rail property is converted into a multi-use trail over the coming years.
