• Woodland Hills football forfeits 2 games after using ineligible player (triblive.com) — Woodland Hills High School in Churchill must forfeit two early-season football wins after WPIAL officials ruled the team used an ineligible transfer player in its first three games. The school self-reported the issue, so Friday's Fox Chapel victory still counts, but the Wolverines' overall record drops to 1-3 as league officials plan an October hearing.
