• Pink and black mold in ice machine: Berks County restaurant inspections, Aug. 5, 2026 (lancasteronline.com) — Several Douglassville food businesses, including New Happy Wok, China V, Dollar Tree, Dunkin’, Manatawny Creek Winery & Brewery, and Monarch Fire Company, were recently inspected by state food-safety officials and all passed, though some had issues like unlabeled foods, dirty equipment, and storage on floors. Most problems were corrected on-site, but the report highlights where cleanliness and food-handling practices still need improvement.
